Safety Orientations
Build the safety orientation workers go through when they join a project, from uploaded slides or formatted pages.
Turning on the orientation step
Workers only see a safety orientation when Require Safety Orientation Check is switched on in your company settings. It is off by default.
Creating a safety orientation
- Go to Admin → Configuration → Safety Orientations
- Click "Add New Orientation"
- Leave Active on and enter a Safety Orientation Name
- Under Projects, pick the projects it applies to, or All Projects
- Click Save
The Safety Orientation Pages section appears once the orientation is saved.
Adding pages
Click "Add New Page" and choose a page type:
- Image: upload slides or photos. You can select several images at once, and each one becomes its own page. Images can be up to 10 MB each.
- HTML Content: write a page in the editor. The Button Link tool adds a button that opens a video, form or document.
Drag pages to change their order, and remove any page you no longer need.
What do workers see?
The orientation is a step in project onboarding, after the worker profile and face photo and before the site acknowledgement. Workers move through it page by page ("Page 2 of 8") and confirm they have read it by continuing to the next step.
ADRO shows the first active orientation assigned to the project. If none is assigned, it uses the company's first active orientation.
Languages
The enrollment screens are available in English and Spanish, but orientation pages appear exactly as you created them. If your crews need both languages, include both in the orientation.
Note: Workers go through onboarding once per project. ADRO does not currently produce a separate orientation completion report. Viewing orientations uses the view safety orientations permission, creating and editing them uses create safety orientations, and managing pages uses edit safety orientations.
