ADRO for Procore: jobsite check-ins that fill your daily log

ADRO connects to Procore through the ADRO Log app. It imports your projects, locations, contractors and trades from Procore, then exports manpower logs, daily construction reports, notes, daily uploads, photos and visitor logs back to Procore as they happen. Failed manpower logs, reports, notes and uploads retry every hour, so your daily log stays complete without anyone retyping a sign-in sheet.

What syncs between ADRO and Procore

Procore remains the system of record for your projects. ADRO adds verified field data from the gate and the site, and every exported record carries a sync status: pending, synced or failed.

Data synced between ADRO and Procore
Data Direction When
Projects Procore to ADRO Imported at 6 AM and 6 PM Eastern, or on demand
Locations, contractors (vendors) and trades Procore to ADRO Imported at 6 AM and 6 PM Eastern for active projects
Manpower log by contractor and location ADRO to Daily Log: Manpower As check-ins are recorded, updated in place when they change
Daily construction report ADRO to Daily Log: Daily Construction Report Built from check-ins, exported when created or changed
Notes with attachments ADRO to Daily Log: Notes Exported when created
Daily uploads (files and documents) ADRO to Daily Log: Attachments Exported when uploaded
Visitor log ADRO to Daily Log: Visitors Exported at check-in, updated with the check-out time
Project photos (optional) ADRO to Photos Exported when uploaded, if photo export is switched on

What does a manpower log entry look like in Procore?

ADRO writes one Manpower entry per contractor and location for each day. It fills in the number of workers, the average hours per worker and the location, and lists every worker's check-in and check-out times in the comments, in the project's local time. Superintendents can see exactly who made up the count.

Notes that subcontractors add at check-in can go to the entry's comments or to a Procore custom field, depending on how your admin sets it up.

How does ADRO keep the Daily Log accurate?

ADRO keeps the Procore entry in step with what happened at the gate, including corrections made later in the day.

  • Corrections update the same entry. If a check-in time, worker, contractor or location changes, ADRO recalculates the count and updates the existing Procore entry rather than adding a second one.
  • Completed logs still receive late data. If the day's daily log is already marked complete, ADRO reopens it, writes the entry and completes it again.
  • Deleted entries are re-created. If someone deletes an exported entry in Procore and the record changes in ADRO, ADRO creates it again instead of failing.
  • Failures retry on their own. Three quick retries within minutes, then every hour until Procore accepts the record. Each record shows its status and the error, and admins can resend it with one click.

A day on site with ADRO and Procore

  1. 1

Crews check in at the gate

Workers check in with the gate QR code on their phone, or with an access card or face scan at the kiosk. Each check-in is tied to their contractor from Procore.

  2. 2

    ADRO builds the manpower count

Each check-in updates the day's manpower log by contractor, so the superintendent sees who is on site right now.

  3. 3

The daily log fills itself in

Manpower logs, visitor logs and construction reports export to the Procore Daily Log. Daily uploads, photos and notes go with them.

  4. 4

    Nothing gets lost

If Procore is unreachable or rejects a manpower log, report, note or upload, ADRO keeps it and retries every hour until it syncs.

Setting it up

Most companies finish setup in a single session with our team.

  1. 1

    Install the ADRO Log app

A Procore company admin installs the app from App Management and chooses which projects ADRO can access.

  2. 2

    Assign permissions

Give the ADRO app user a permission template with access to the Daily Log, Directory and Documents tools.

  3. 3

    Map your projects

We connect your Procore projects to ADRO and import their locations, contractors and trades.

  4. 4

    Run a test sync

We send a test export together and switch on automatic syncing.

Step-by-step instructions are in the Procore setup guide.

Procore integration questions

Does ADRO replace Procore?

No. ADRO handles the jobsite gate: check-in, headcount, orientations, visitors and field reports. Procore stays your project management system and receives that data, so nobody retypes it.

What happens if an export to Procore fails?

ADRO retries a failed export three times within a few minutes. If Procore still does not accept it, manpower logs, construction reports, notes and daily uploads are retried every hour until they sync. Each record shows its status, so admins can see what is pending, synced or failed and why.

Does the manpower log change if a check-in is corrected later?

Yes. When a check-in time, worker, contractor or location changes, ADRO recalculates the manpower log and updates the same Procore entry instead of creating a duplicate.

What if the daily log is already marked complete in Procore?

ADRO reopens that day's daily log, writes the entry, and marks the log complete again, so late check-outs still reach Procore.

Who needs to set it up?

A Procore user with Admin permission on the company Directory installs the ADRO Log app and assigns a permission template. ADRO then maps your projects and runs a test sync with you.

Can we choose which projects sync?

Yes. You grant the ADRO Log app access to all projects or only the ones you pick, and you can add projects later.

Does ADRO import Procore users?

No. ADRO imports projects, locations, contractors and trades. Workers are enrolled in ADRO, by invitation, from a project link or at the enrollment kiosk, and each check-in is tied to a contractor from Procore.

Is face data sent to Procore?

No. Face data used for check-in stays in ADRO and is never exported to Procore or any other integration.
