Managing Projects

Configure and manage job site projects in ADRO.

Accessing Projects

Navigate to Admin → Projects from the main menu to view all your company's projects.

Note: Projects are imported automatically from your integrated system (CMiC or Procore). There is no manual project creation — all projects are synced from your external platform.

Project Status

Projects can be active or inactive. Use the toggle switch to change status:

  • Active: Workers can clock in/out, project appears in lists
  • Inactive: Project is hidden from workers, no time tracking allowed

Auto-Sync Feature: When you activate a project for CMiC companies, the system automatically syncs all related data including locations, contractors, and project contacts.

Entering a Project

Click the green "Enter" button on any project row to quickly navigate to that project's home page. This is the fastest way to access a project's dashboard, time tracking, and daily logs.

Selecting a Project Partner

Each project needs a designated partner contact:

  1. Click "Select Partner" button on the project row
  2. Choose from available project contacts
  3. Click "Refresh Partners List" if you need to sync the latest contacts
  4. Save your selection

Important: For CMiC companies, projects without a selected partner will be highlighted in red as a reminder.

Filtering Projects

Use the filter options to find specific projects:

  • Active Status: Show only active or inactive projects
  • Project Name: Search by name
  • Project Number: Search by project number
  • Partner: Filter by partner status — show projects with no partner selected or only those with a partner assigned (CMiC companies only)

Test Projects

Super Admins can mark a project as a "Test Project" from the Super Admin project edit page. Test projects are indicated with a yellow "Test" badge in the projects list and are automatically excluded from all reports (including the Projects Activity Monthly report and the Super Admin dashboard).

Project Data Counts

The projects list displays a Contractors Count column alongside the existing Locations Count. You can also click the purple "Data" icon button on any project row to open a modal showing all imported data counts (Locations, Contractors, and Project Contacts) at a glance.

Syncing Project Data

For projects connected to external systems (like CMiC), you can sync data:

  1. Click "Sync Data" button on the project
  2. System will import:
    • Locations
    • Contractors
    • Project Contacts
    • Trades
  3. Wait for sync to complete (status will update)
