Manpower Reports
View daily workforce summaries across all projects, correct the contractor on a log, and manage exports.
What are Manpower Reports?
Manpower reports show how many workers were on each project per day, helping with resource planning and billing.
A manpower log is created automatically from worker entry logs. There is one log per combination of project, contractor, location and date, and its worker count and total hours are recalculated from the entry logs attached to it.
Accessing Reports
Go to Admin → Data → Manpower Logs
Report Data
- Total workers per project per day
- Total hours worked
- Worker breakdown by trade/role
- Contractor vs. employee counts
Export Statuses
The status dot on each row shows where the log stands with the external system. Hover it to see the full error message when a sync has failed.
- Pending: Waiting to be exported for the first time
- Synced: Successfully exported
- Updated: Changed since the last export and queued to be sent again
- Failed: The export was rejected — the error code is shown next to the status
- Skipped: The company does not have manpower log export enabled
- Ignored: Deliberately excluded from future export attempts
Available Actions
Each row provides the following actions:
- View Details: Open the log with its entry logs and export history
- Sync: Recalculate the log from its entry logs and push it to the external system immediately
- Change Contractor: Reassign the log and its entry logs to a different contractor
- Delete: Remove the log — related entry logs are unlinked, not deleted
Log Details
Opening a log shows its entry logs alongside the export history — the notifications raised for it and every API request sent to the external system. A log that has been retried many times can build up hundreds of requests, so both of those tables are paginated; use the page controls beneath each one to browse them.
Changing the Contractor
Use Change Contractor when workers were logged under the wrong contractor — most often a duplicate or inactive contractor record. Search for the correct contractor and select it. Inactive contractors are marked in the results so you can pick the active record.
The reassignment does the following:
- Moves every entry log on the manpower log to the new contractor
- If the new contractor already has a log for the same project, location and date, the two are merged: the entry logs move onto that existing log, its worker count and hours are recalculated, and the now-empty log is removed
- Any log that was already exported is marked Updated so the correction is sent to the external system on the next export
Merged logs: When a merge removes a log that had already been exported, the matching record in the external system is not deleted automatically. Remove it there if it is no longer wanted.
