System Overview

Understanding the core components of ADRO will help you make the most of the system.

System Architecture

Companies

The top level of organization. Each company has its own projects, users, and settings. Multiple companies can exist in the system with completely separate data.

Projects (Job Sites)

Projects represent individual job sites. Each project contains:

  • Project name and number
  • Location details (address, city, state)
  • Start and end dates
  • Partner information
  • Multiple physical locations within the site

Locations

Locations are specific areas within a project where workers can clock in and out. Each location has its own unique QR code for time tracking.

Users & Roles

The system supports multiple user types with different permission levels:

  • Administrators: Full system access
  • Project Managers: Can manage specific projects
  • Workers: Can clock in/out and view their own time
  • Contractors: External workers with limited access

Main Workflows

1. Project Setup

  1. Create a new project
  2. Add locations to the project
  3. Generate QR codes for each location
  4. Print and post QR codes at physical locations

2. User Onboarding

  1. Add user to the system
  2. Assign appropriate role
  3. User completes safety orientation (if required)
  4. User can start tracking time

3. Time Tracking

  1. Worker scans QR code at location
  2. System records clock in time
  3. Worker performs work
  4. Worker scans QR code again to clock out
  5. Entry log is created with total time

Pro Tip: You can activate a project to automatically sync all related data from external systems like CMiC.
